  Several months ago, on the eve of my wedding, I received a beautiful sample skein of Fibrelya's bamboo/merino mix sock yarn, Bamba, when I ordered their self-striping sock yarn for the shop. I took one look at the gorgeous purple-and-grey colorway called Callicarpa, with its subtle blue speckles, and was in love. Our customer Kath created this gorgeous bandana-style cowl out of one skein of Dragonfly Fibers' Traveller DK in African Daisy. The brilliant colors in the yarn really pop in this adorable and easy project. We love it! Our customer and Ravelry group member, Kaitlin, made this gorgeous hat by blending two different patterns, using Eden Cottage's Millburn 4-Ply in Estuary and Autumn Fields. She then loaned it to me to take photos for our site. I can safely say it was hard to send it back to her! Our customer Kelly makes the prettiest socks! These are made from a pattern at Knitty called Eternal Spring, in our lovely Cedar House Sapling Sock. The color is Undertow, a pretty light blue. Make a pair for yourself with just one skein!

I'm all done with this beautiful shawl, and just wanted to show it off. I can't believe how beautiful it is, and I'm honestly both impressed by the pattern itself and by the yarn I used for it, both created by Jennifer at Cedar House Yarns.
