These yarns are fingering or sock weight. The numbers below are averages for yarns in this weight, taken from the Craft Yarn Council Guidelines. Your results may vary.

Sock yarns differ from general fingering weight yarns in that they usually contain another fiber to promote durability, such as nylon or silk, and are often superwash.
