Jamieson & Smith 2-Ply Lace Weight Shetland Wool
Product Description: Jamieson & Smith 2ply Lace Weight is spun from the finest real Shetland wool along with Lambswool to make a smoother yarn and tame the Shetland "halo". Traditionally used in Shetland Lace haps and scarves, this yarn is also perfect for light garments such as shawls, scarves, wraps and summer sweaters. This yarn can be used in vintage patterns which call for "3ply yarns."

CONES: We can also get most colors in 500g cones upon request, but carry a limited stock of shades 202 and 203 in cones (the most popular sweater body colors). If you need around 2500 yards (or more), this is the way to go. We can also order a combination of cones and skeins, if you need more than 2500, but way less than 5000 yards. Fairlight Fibers Notes: Jamieson & Smith 2-Ply Lace Weight is a gorgeous lace weight wool with a traditional Shetland feel. It has a rustic, grippy hand. It is perfect for traditional Shetland wool products. The skeins are smaller, but this is so that you can order several colors per project. Please keep quantities in mind when you purchase this yarn! If you need a lot of one color, please consider ordering a cone (see the note above). You will love this yarn.
