Product Description: Okologisk Sommeruld (Ecological Summer Wool) is processed and spun exclusively for CaMaRose from 100% organic merino and cotton fibers from their European producer, which, like their other producers, is produced with consideration for the environment, animal welfare, health, working conditions, sustainability and quality.
The 100% organic and new fibers are spun into a classic three-threaded raw white base yarn which is subsequently dyed with STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX ® certification of the Ecological Summer Wool is your guarantee that the yarn is produced under sustainable conditions and is tested and free of more than 300 environmentally and health-damaging substances. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is the world's leading textile certification and the requirements go far beyond the otherwise generally applicable regulations in both Denmark and the EU. The summer wool combination of merino wool and cotton gives a lightness and softness which is particularly suitable for baby and children's knitwear. The combination of merino wool and cotton provides a delicious alternative to 100% wool and can be used for summer tops, t-shirts and blouses without getting too hot but warm enough for the most cool Nordic summers.
The color chart in my Ecological Summer Wool is designed with an eye in order to combine neutral, contrast-filled or tone-to-tone as well as to blend by knitting with two strands. The colors are inspired by the colors and lights of the Nordic countries and the color map is regularly expanded in line with the trends of the time so it is always updated and inspiring for individual color combinations.

Fairlight Fibers Notes: Okologisk Sommeruld is a beautifully soft and perfect for garments for summer and/or for people who prefer a softer yarn. The mix of wool and cotton gives this yarn a lovely hand. Like all CaMaRose yarns, it's produced to ethical standards and is great for the environment as well.
