Product Description: Lovely 3ply alpaca yarn. Alpaca is a fiber from alpacas (a camelid animal that resembles a llama) living in the high mountains of South America. This fiber is hollow, therefore it provides excellent insulating properties and makes the yarn soft and very warm. After all, the alpaca needs warmth on cold mountain nights. Alpaca fiber has a beautiful, slightly silky sheen, which adds even more charm to the yarn.

Fairlight Fibers Notes: Vilje is pure alpaca, meaning it is incredibly soft and squishy. It will stretch, like alpaca always does, but has incredible warmth, making it perfect for everything from beautiful shawls to baby wear. Highly recommended.
