Maison Sajou Tartan Fabric Embroidery Scissors
Product Description: These embroidery scissors are inspired by sewing items covered in tartan paper which were extremely fashionable all through the 19th century. These are made from genuine fabric instead of paper, which has been confined within a layer of crystal acetate. The delicate blades are engraved with the Sajou name. The blades are very pointed for precision work. These scissors are presented in a Sajou box, with a label on the inside cover to explain the manufacturing process.
An important detail enables buyers to judge the quality of a pair of scissors: the pairing marks - the number on the interior of each of the blades. This number is different on each pair of scissors and indicates that both parts have been paired together from the first assemblage to make a perfect match. After the first fitting, the scissors are taken apart and each shear undergoes the different processing operations before being reassembled and finished.
Fairlight Fibers Notes: These entirely french-made scissors are so adorable! The handles are colorful and very comfortable to use. They are super-sharp, beautifully milled and will last a lifetime. They come in Maison Sajou's patterned plaid box with a sweet green, red and white tassel attached to the scissors. They are the standard size for embroidery scissors.
