San Juan Islands color work socks are made with one main skein and one mini-skein of contrasting yarn, featuring waves, starfish, and sand patterns. The design utilizes a simple cable heel flap to mimic kelp beds and provide additional durability.

The yarn used are no longer available. Any 4 oz main color skein of sock yarn and 1 oz mini-skein for the contrasting color will work.
