Please Note: JOMA Yarns is now Subculture Yarns! Same wonderful dyer, just a new name. Some skeins will come with a new label, and some with the previous labels, until stock rolls over. Thanks!
Product Description: Sock-a-Rino is a superwash merino and nylon blended sock yarn, soft and lofty but with good twist and to make it strong and sturdy for sock, mittens and garments that will be well worn and subject to wear and tear. The fibres have great loft and the shiny sheen of the merino and nylon bring depth and shine to the colours.
Weight: fingering/sock
Fairlight Fibers Notes: Sock-a-Rino is a delicious, smooshy merino sock yarn with wonderfully unique colorways and a very soft hand. With the exception of Friggin' Skookum, the colors are layered in short bursts by Emjay, the dyer for Subculture, so they will not really pool in your knitting, but provide a lovely water-color effect. Friggin' Skookum will self-stripe two contrasting colors of hand-painted yarns, for a cool effect! Like all hand-dyed yarns, we cannot guarantee any match from dye lot to dye lot, or even within a dye lot. This yarn is perfect for socks, shawls... any project. Highly recommended.
