This is a pretty cabled cowl that is quick to make and warm on a cold winter walk. Two different cable styles travel vertically to decorate the cowl between purl bands.
This cowl fits closely, almost like a turtleneck, to keep your neck toasty. The pattern is a repeat of 30 stitches, so if you’d like to make it wider, you can easily add more repeats, or go up a needle size with slightly thicker yarn.
The yarn used in this cowl is Blackwattle Alpaca Yarns and Fibre Waratah Naturals in Graphite, which is lovely and soft. Any fingering-weight yarn will work for this pattern.
